Is Aurae therapy?
No. Aurae is a companion that remembers what you tell it and reflects patterns back once there’s real evidence for them. It’s not therapy, counseling, or a crisis service, and it doesn’t diagnose or treat anything. If you’re in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, please contact a crisis line or emergency services in your area.
How is my data used?
Aurae remembers what you tell it so it can refer back to specific things later and notice real patterns over time. We don’t sell your data, and we don’t use it for advertising. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
How do I delete my data?
Open Profile > Manage your data. You can delete individual memories one at a time, export everything as a file, or permanently delete your entire account and everything in it — deleting your account is immediate and irreversible.
How do I turn off memory without deleting my account?
Profile has a single toggle, “Remember what I tell you,” that turns future memory off without deleting anything you’ve already shared.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed and managed entirely through Apple. On your device, open Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions, find Aurae, and cancel there. Aurae can’t cancel a subscription for you directly — that’s an Apple-enforced rule for all apps, not specific to us.
Something isn’t working — what should I include when I report it?
Whatever you can share about what you expected to happen, what actually happened, and roughly when it happened helps us track it down faster. No need to include anything from your actual conversations with Aurae unless it’s directly relevant to the bug.
